Warrington u3a is a local charity to help those of us who are no longer in full-time work to come together and learn for fun. We are part of the UK-wide u3a movement of over a thousand similar local groups. The u3a helps members develop their interests in a friendly and relaxed environment. It is all voluntary, and we learn from each other. And it's all just for pleasure. Enjoyment is the prime motive, not qualifications or awards.
We have over a thousand members, and are home to some 50 activity groups covering a wide range of topics, from Art to Ukulele, American Square Dance to Walking, Philosophy to Knit and Natter, and everything in between. Our groups meet in or near the town centre wherever possible. Because of the range of our activities, some meet out of town but still with easy access by bus or with convenient parking. Meetings are usually free or sometimes have a nominal charge for outside speakers, materials or when members wish to meet more often. Whether you would like to learn a new subject or brush up on an existing interest, Warrington u3a is for you.
Membership which runs from now until August 2027 is £45 and you can pay it on-line using your debit or credit card. Select the appropriate button below and follow the instructions on the screen. There is also an option to pay in two instalments of £25 now and £20 on the 1st February 2027.
There is also an option to include the informative quarterly National U3A magazine which you can add to your membership at a cost of £5 annually.
Please consider ticking the Gift Aid declaration if you, or anyone permanently living with you at your address, is a taxpayer. This will enable us to reclaim additional payments from the taxman.
Our system uses PayPal to process your payment but you DO NOT need a PayPal account to use it. Simply enter your credit or debit card details and select “Pay With Card” when you get to the payment page.
If you wish, you can make an additional voluntary contribution to give us extra support.
