Come and join this group to learn to play a brass instrument and to read music at your own pace in a friendly setting.

The instruments involved are those found in a brass band, e.g. cornets, baritones, euphoniums, basses. These will be provided on loan, free of charge.

Our group consists of members with no experience and a few people who have played before.

Music and advice is provided with the instrument and hopefully a band will evolve that can take part in engagements. People should bring their own music stand and a small towel to protect the floor.

We meet on fortnightly on Wednesdays from 1.30pm to 3pm in the Alford Hall Games Room, WA1 3NJ.
