Walk: 5-ish miles along paths, along the banks of the Dane. A couple of sturdy stiles, a little bit of mud, if it's been raining and two gentle inclines. Lots of birds, a lovely river, an impressive viaduct, and an Archimedes Screw.

Parking: Plenty of space in the car park. Don’t worry about the parking signs, you will get 24 hours free parking, but you must enter your registration number in the machine in the pub whether you are eating with us or not. Please be aware that the toilets will probably not be open as it's the brewery delivery morning and the landlord will be on his own. No coffee shops en route so you'll need to bring your own.

Lunch: See the online menu and let us have your choices no later than Sunday 3rd May. They are about to launch their summer menu, but the landlord said that the staples are unlikely to change, pies and fish and chips, etc.
