Emailing problems
I have been having emails (mainly to btinternet.com addresses) returned as possible spam. I will try and ensure that any information is also available here.
Weekly Wednesday Walks
The group tries to offer walks each Wednesday, normally starting at 10:30. The programme continues through July and August on each Wednesday.
New walkers are requested to register with the Group Leader, Simon Hutt, using the link at the top of the page.
Walkers are responsible for getting to the walk start themselves. There is no commitment to walk every week and members may alternate between the longer and shorter walks as they wish.
All walkers are asked to contact the walk leader before going on a walk in case of last minute changes, or if walk leaders need to limit numbers.
The A walk is usually of 7 to 10 miles in length, takes most of the day and involves travelling greater distances of up to 50 miles.
The B walk is usually 5 to 6 miles in length and is a morning walk, usually with a pub lunch. Travelling distances should be within 25 miles.
The C walk is a shorter walk of about 3-4 miles, also usually with a pub lunch. Travelling distances should be within 25 miles.
Currently no C walks have been offered but we would love to resurrect this. If you would like to lead a C walk please get in touch.
Can leaders please send details of their walks for inclusion in the programme to me using the "contact" link at the top of this page.
Social events
The group also offer occasional social events and holidays in addition to the Wednesday walks. For details see the bottom of this page, including details of next year's planned walking group holiday to Anglesey.
