Meet: 10:30 start. We will park in Haigh Hall car park (£4 for all day). What3words ///factor.spices.reds. There are toilets at Haigh Hall next to the courtyard coffee and ice cream shops. Bring a packed lunch.

Walk: 7.86 miles and 546ft of ascent. The walk will start from Haigh Hall, over a number of farmers’ fields with half a dozen stiles to get over.  We will then head over to Worthington lakes where we can find a place to sit down for our sandwiches. After lunch we will walk via Red Rock and the canal back towards the lower and upper plantations. There is an option to shorten the walk to about 6 miles, missing out the plantations at the Southern end of the walk.
