Meet: For a 10:30 start. We will park in the Elmers Green Lane car park which is free all day. Elmers Green Ln, Skelmersdale WN8 7RU, What3words ///tensions.pampered.tangling. There are toilets and cafe at the car park that should be open from 10am to 3.30pm.

Walk: The walk will start from Beacon Country Park.  There are half a dozen stiles and a mix of paths including woodland trails, fields, lanes and canal towpaths. Unfortunately there are not many options to significantly shorten the walk. There are however a few paths that shorten the route slightly.  Please let me know if you would like some suggestions about how to shorten the walk. Total ascent 742 feet.
