Walk: 5.3 miles, mainly flat. Can be muddy if we’ve had lots of rain (ask Linda!) We walked this a couple of years ago, so I’ll reverse the route to give you a different view. Some road walking and then along the Duke’s Drive and onto the water meadows of the River Dee.

Meet: 10:30. Park at Queen's Park High School, Queens Park Road, Handbridge. Chester CH4 7AE. What3words ///saving.fails.speak. This car park is only open at weekends and school holidays. Parking fee per car: £4.50. We will start the walk from there.

Other info: Nice easy flat walk on the south side of the River Dee looking over to the city. Can you let me know if you’re walking with me, and if eating too please.

Lunch: The Ship Inn (no need to move the car as it’s just down the road, beside the bridge.) Lunch booked for 1pm. Nearer the time I will need your choices.
