A note for all walkers, ex-walkers, virtual walkers, and would-be walkers

Please note that the Christmas lunch will be held at Appleton Golf Club on London Road, Appleton, WA4 5HR, on Wednesday 22nd January.

Cost: £17.00

Food: Buffet with a choice of 3 dishes (probably fish pie, hotpot, veg lasagne, with chips and salads), followed by desserts and tea or coffee.   In order to make things easier for everybody, I will have a desk in the room, at which your payment will be taken. It is up to you, but I suggest that we pay £18 which would include a tip. Please bring cash to pay for your meal, I will not have a card machine. If possible, please bring the correct change.

Walk: There will be a walk led by Hilary from the Car Park, start time 10:30. Two hour circular, over the golf course, fields, and parks of Appleton. Guaranteed muddy, but no stiles and reasonably flat.

Please check emails and WhatsApp groups two days beforehand in case there are any changes. The Ladies' Locker Room and Mens' Visitors Changing Room will be available if you want to change out of walking gear before the meal.
