Meet: 10:30am Manchester Piccadilly Station, main entrance at the front of the station. Regular trains from all Warrington Stations. Toilets and cafes at the station.

Walk: 5.75 miles walk around Manchester canals and city centre, with café coffee stop half way round. No mud! But some paths are cobbled, there are a lot of steps and bridges, and in one case you need to cross narrow canal gates.

Lunch: Make your own arrangements. There are a number of pubs and cafes near Piccadilly Station.
