Walk: Approximately 7 miles. A varied walk taking us through woods, along rivers and canals, up into the grassy hills for great views and ending along the millennium bridge back to New Mills. 950 ft ascent/descent. Mainly good paths. Steep short descent down cobbled road at start of the walk. Few stiles. Walking poles helpful.

Meet: Torrs Top Car Park, New Mills, Sk22 4BS, WTW ///enjoyable.remotest.withdraws. £3.20 cash or card. This car park gets very busy. If full, follow one way system out and go to Market Street Car Park, SK22 4AA, WTW ///carry.dreaming.clotting. Same cost and a short walk back to Torrs Top.
