Rivington Terraced Gardens and Pike
| Meet: | 10.30 at Great House Barn car park, Bolton BL6 7SB (What3Words ///challenge.arrives.succumbs). Toilets available. There is plenty of free parking along the road if the car park itself is full. |
| Walk: | 5 miles if you go up to the Pike itself and 4½ if you miss this bit off. This is a fairly strenuous walk with quite a few steps to climb. There is an option to take a level walk from the top of the gardens to a nice little café, Fika, if you don't feel like climbing up to the Pike itself. There are no stiles and the paths are all very well surfaced with only one small section which could be muddy. Fantastic views from various points in good weather. |
