Meet: 10:30 Stamford Bridge Inn, Tarvin Road, CH3 7HN (Pub entrance is on Barrow Lane), What3words ///embellish.restores.foil. Pub will not be open before the walk for toilets. Suggest Chester services J14 of M56.
Walk: 5.9 miles, flat, 3 stiles, across fields to Tarvin village and on to the Roman bridges on the River Gowy. Mainly good paths but some spongey ground in fields and some long grass which will be very wet after rain. Gaiters are recommended.
Lunch: Pre-orders required by Sunday 12th October. Menus on pub website The best pub food in Chester at The Stamford Bridge Inn and will also be posted on the WhatsApp group nearer the walk date.
